Examples of use:
Important: Please note that a push-button is not a switch. A push-button in the electronic sense only emits a current pulse.
- For alternating and cross-switching with other touch sensors from ROHDE+ROHDE (switches, dimmers, roller shutter control).
- For controlling downstream electronics (e.g. external dimmers or relays).
- For integration into home automation systems.
Functionality:
Comparable to a bell button, the contact is only closed as long as it is touched. The sensor reacts to approach already approx. 2 mm above the front panel.
Alternating circuit / cross circuit:
For a toggle or cross connection, any number of push-buttons are connected to 1 piece (only 1 device) of touch switch or touch dimmer or touch shutter control. Each connected push-button then behaves like the touch switch or touch dimmer or touch shutter control.
Installation/Technique:
- Installation in standard round flush-mounted boxes ø 60 mm or cavity wall boxes ø 68 mm.
- Required depth of the wall box: At least 45 mm.
- 3-cable connection: Neutral conductor is required.
- Max 2A. Integrated LED, blue steady light. Very low self-consumption in standby mode: 24 mA @ 230Vac (0.6 W).
- 230V input and output voltage.
- For each wall box, 1 touch sensor can be placed in the middle or 2 touch sensors can be placed next to each other.
- Touch sensors with different functions can be individually combined in a common touch panel.

Within the warranty period, we will exchange the defective product for a faultless product, provided there is a material or manufacturing defect. Excluded from the guarantee are in particular: Malfunctions due to incorrect connection, overvoltage in the power supply system, incorrect handling during installation, temperatures or air humidity untypical of the living space. Also excluded from the warranty are signs of use such as scratches or cracks, damage due to external influences such as bending, falling, excessive heat, mechanical action or the use of cleaning agents. Only water without any other additives and a soft cloth may be used to clean the front panels and frames. In addition, you have the rights under the statutory liability for defects as a consumer. These rights can be asserted against us without restriction and independently of our guarantee.
